School Life

Academic Model at Sphinx Academy

Students meet 1:1 with a dedicated learning coach who takes the time to know them deeply and support them in setting and achieving their short- and long-term goals.

Students apply their acquired knowledge to projects, and through the process build skills and habits that prepare them for life after school. They also have opportunities such as field trips, guest speakers, and working with professionals to broaden their perspectives.

Students are guided through a learning cycle that develops self-direction by teaching them how to set goals, make plans, learn, demonstrate what they've learned, and reflect on the process to improve it.

Using these three components, we strive to reach every student and ensure they leave high school with what they need to succeed.
